Jason Mesnick is Disgusting... Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!

WOW! I just watched the season finale of the Bachelor and I am sick to my stomach! So... the sweet, amazing, perfect single father from Seattle is a PIG! After spending his last days with the girls.. he chose Melissa. They seemed happy, kissed, hugged, jumped into the pool with their clothes, on yada yada yada! Then came the after show! He brings his FIANCE out and breaks up with her... on LIVE TV! Then not 10 minutes later he brings Molly out and tells her he loves her... and kisses her about 10 times! SICK! I understand he has to follow his heart, but does that mean breaking Melissa's heart in front of millions of viewers! I think something as intense as breaking off an engagement should be done in private! Then there is Molly. I understand she wanted him to change his mind, but where is your self respect. He JUST broke off his engagement, can we hold off on the make out session! I would never want to be someones second choice. I could not be with a man who sent me packin' and told me he was in love with someone else, who let me cry for 6 weeks, who led another women on for that time. It is pathetic! I am also disgusted with that fact that he has had Melissa around his adorable son Ty for the past month, as his fiance, and what is going to do now.. tell his 4 year old..oops Daddy made a mistake Molly is going to be your new step mom instead. Gross! All in all I think he is just the kind of man who jumps ship when things get hard. Most likely he and Melissa had a few arguments, like most couples do, and he wants everything to be an easy fairytale. I jokingly told Jess that he will be calling Jillian in 6 weeks, and then Naomi! Haha :)! Although, I think either of them would tell him to pound sand! I am so sad for Melissa, no one deserves what she went through! So those are my thoughts :)

Expecting!

So... I think I have yet to blog about the new little one on the way. I am pregnant, about 15 weeks. We are all very excited. It has been just about 3 years since we had a newborn, and I cannot wait! There is something about those first months that is like nothing else. It is really magical and I always have a rush of happiness in me when I think of bringing my sweet little one home, and all the moments that will follow! I have had a few ultrasounds up to this point, however last week was the first that looked like a baby. Boy oh Boy was that little one ALL over the place. It was so fun to see! Here are the photos:
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

Bobby the Daddy.. long post alert :)

My boys BOTH took a nap today...AT THE SAME TIME. I of course took the opportunity to relax a little. As I way lying there I started to think of all the years I have been a Mommy. It has been almost 6! The more I thought, the more my mind was flooded with so many memories, a lot of them of Bobby being an amazing Daddy! To be perfectly honest, when we found out we were going to be parents, we were scared, inexperienced, and about as unprepared as it gets. Although Bobby held, cuddled and tried and tried to get Jakob to smile as much as he possibly could (he loved that little smile!), I did the majority of the work those first 6 months. Then the time every parent know so well arrived. The moment they go from being tiny little infants who do little more then sleep and look adorable, to being chubby little babies, who laugh, play and crawl. Well that was when Bobby and Jakob became best buds! We had this circular gate, it was not at all big enough for Bobby, but he would squeeze in there and play with Jake for hours. One of my favorite memories was when Jake was about 15 months old. I came home form work and like so many other days there was a note saying that Bobby had taken Jake to the park up the street and I should join them. This day stood out because I could see Bobby beaming with pride from the parking lot. He had a HUGE smile, as we watched our little boy go up the stairs and down the slide over and over! From those days on, I watched him, like myself, go from scared out of his mind, to LOVE being a parent so much! When we had Aiden we both felt far more relaxed and he even helped a ton the first six months. Aiden and Bobby have a really great bond, and it was like watching him with Jakey all over again. I even have a similar playground memory of sweet little Aiden! Today, my boys are almost 3 and 5, and let me tell you nothing has changed. You will often find him playing Bakagun (probably spelled that wrong :) with them, building elaborate train tracks, or watching them romp in the green belt in their Jeep. He is an awesome Dad.

Catch up :)

I haven't updated in forever! In my defense this pregnancy has been giving me a run for my money! I did however get out and about quite a bit this weekend with Bobby and my boys!
On Saturday we met Jessica, Matt and the boys for lunch. After we headed to Anthem to play at the park and ride the train! The boys were so cute! As we walked up to the train Karson yelled "All Aboard".. it was adorable! Then the conductor let each of the boys say "All Aboard" into the microphone.. granted we were the only riders at the time, but it was really cute all the same! We finished up the day with our friends with some Coldstone...yum! This morning we decided to go hiking! With a two little ones, and a pregnant wife, we opted for an easy flat trail. We drove a short way to the White Tanks, and hiked (or walked :) the Waterfall Trail.. it was very pretty! After we had a picnic lunch, and let the boys play at the little playground by the trail! It was such a nice day, and being out in the fresh air and sunshine was great! The bad news is that I forgot my camera both days, so I have no pictures of the fun :( !! I decided instead to post some pictures from way back when (haha) we first met Matt and Jess, and we went to Makutu's Island... Jakob and Kaleb were off running a muck, and sweet baby Koen wasn't here yet so these photo's only show Aiden and Karson, I cannot believe how little they were!!
Since Kaleb and Jakob were not in the last pictures, here is one of them at the Zoo from around the same time:
Arn't they sweet! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
